Learn to Hockey Skate
Learn to Hockey Skate is an instructional program for beginning skaters. The program meets once a week for 14 weeks and starts off at Champions Skate Center in Cromwell then moves to the outstanding Freeman Athletic Center Hockey Rink on the Wesleyan University campus in Middletown.
This program is designed to teach the fundamentals of hockey skating to beginning players ages 4 and older. No previous experience is necessary. Skaters will be broken into groups with similar skill levels.
Participants in the Learn to Skate must have a hockey helmet with face shield, neck guard, and hockey skates. Hockey gloves, elbow pads, and shin guards are highly recommended.

Rink Directions:
Parents with hockey skating skills are welcome to help on the ice with the Learn to Skate program. NO SHOES ARE ALLOWED ON THE ICE!
ALL COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS MUST WEAR A HOCKEY HELMET WHEN ON THE ICE.
